OK California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand has made it to Austin. The Mikey approved double-double cheeseburger is meant for big boys with a hearty appetite.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen
Just across the highway. The name says it all. A Seafood restaurant with favorites such as: Glazed Plank Salmon, North Atlantic Swordfish, or Fried Alligator, along with Angus Beef Rib-Eye, and Filet Mignon.  Try the Gumbo.

RED ROBIN GOURMET BURGERS
IH 35 Southbound in Pflugerville. A change from the ordinary Drive-Thru burger joints. These are Fire-Grilled Burgers customized to your taste! Also Grilled Turkey Burgers, Grilled Chicken Burgers, and Crispy Arctic Cod Burgers.

The Salt Lick, Driftwood, TEXAS
About 40 minutes south of Austin. This is the original rustic Salt Lick. A Texas Hill Country Original: as seen on TV.  Texas Bar B Q served family style and all you can eat. It’s so popular they have to set a time limit on seating. Be sure to visit the winery next door! Oh, CASH ONLY!  No beer sold on premises, but you can carry beer coolers. “You can smell their pits for miles”

The Salt Lick at Old Settler’s Park
Just up the highway in Round Rock. Closer to the host hotel, about 30 minutes up the road, but same great all you can eat Bar-B-Q served family style.  Credit cards accepted here.  Beer and Liquor served on site.

Texas Road House
IH-35 North. A Fun, Texas style road house serving the Fort Worth Rib-Eye, hand-cut steaks aged to perfection, ribs, chicken, fresh baked  bread, and made from scratch sides.

Trudy’s North Star TEX-MEX Restaurant
Featuring TEX-MEX tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas, Mexican Martinis and Margaritas.
